Jaden Smith was already famous even before he made his film debut in “The Pursuit of Happyness.” That’s because his father, and co-star in that film, Will Smith, was already an Oscar-winning actor and Grammy-winning rapper. He rose to fame as a rapper called The Fresh Prince.

He then gained acting fame for starring in a sitcom called “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.” For Jaden, and his sister Willow, his father’s fame would be the perfect stepping stone to his own, with roles in films like “The Karate Kid” remake, among others, getting him plaudits. In 2021 he won a Grammy for featuring on Justin Bieber’s album “Justice.”
