Before she was an actress who broke into the scene in the hit Netflix comedy “Tall Girl,” Ava Michelle was a dancer. She still is one, but she gained fame for being part of the reality show “Dance Moms,” where she spent four years as one of the top dancers in the school.

Throughout her time on the show, her mother, Jeanette Cota, was by her side. Cota is a housewife who took the time out to take her daughter to dance class, and then later pursue her acting career, where she got the first taste as a Forrester model in “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
