If there is one pop star who can thank his mother for his success and his $285 million net worth, it’s Justin Bieber. It was his mother, Pattie Mallette, who posted the videos on YouTube that got Justin discovered by So So Def Recordings record exec Scooter Braun.
He should also thank his church, for convincing his mother to let him go with Braun despite her reservations. Mallette managed his early career but turned to writing. Her 2012 autobiography, “Nowhere but Up” was a bestseller in its first week. In 2021 Beibers Christmas album “Under the Mistletoe,” was named one of the Greatest of All Time Top Holiday Albums by Billboard.
