Of all the things Finn Wolfhard could become, an actor and rock musician must have been further from his father’s mind. He, Eric Wolfhard, is a historical researcher and doctor who has also researched aboriginal land claims. One would have expected Finn to be more academic.

But instead, he followed acting his career and has done a pretty good job at it too. He of course is best known for playing mike wheeler in the Netflix show “Stranger Things.” But he has also landed other big roles like Billy Denborough in “It” and Trevor in 2021’s “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”
