Aly Raisman
With six Olympic medals to her name, two-time Olympian Alexandra Raisman is indeed one of America’s most decorated gymnasts. She was the captain of the 2012 “Fierce Five” and 2016 “Final Five” U.S. teams.
They say gymnastics make you a better dancer, and this was indeed true in Raisman’s case. Following her break from gymnastics, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars before returning to the 2016 Olympic games, where she won three medals. Raisman bravely revealed that the gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar abused her through inappropriate touching and subsequently sued the U.S. Olympic Committee for failing to safeguard athletes’ interests.
