Buying Everything In Twos

That in itself is an amazing feat, considering the average family of four spends about that amount to feed themselves. And in addition to buying in bulk, they also save money by gardening. The family grows as much produce as possible in their backyards so that they always have fresh fruits and vegetables.

In part, the family’s frugal grocery shopping was due to the fact that just keeping up with day-to-day needs costs quite a bit. To get by, the family kept everything in twos – two sinks, two washers, and two dryers are pretty handy when there are so many dishes to wash and piles of laundry to do!
