John Neely Kennedy (70) – Centreville, Mississippi
Despite having the same surname as President John F. Kennedy, John Neely Kennedy is not related to him. However, while they do not share the same blood, they have one thing in common; they are both politicians. Kennedy is an American politician who became the junior United States senator from Louisiana in 2017.
He also served as the Louisiana State Treasurer from 2000 to 2017. While Kennedy has spent decades of his life as a government official, he has also spent some of that time as a lawyer and author. In 2021, he voted against creating a commission to investigate the United States Capitol attack that happened on January 6, 2021.
