A Trap Well Set
As the woman returned to the porch, Russell watched with bated breath, waiting for the moment of truth. She hesitated for a second, then picked up the package, and just as she turned to leave, a loud bang echoed through the air.
The woman screamed and dropped the package, running back to the car hurriedly. Russell’s trap had worked like a charm, and he couldn’t help but grin in satisfaction. As the thieves drove away, they failed to realize the woman had dropped her phone on the porch in her panic. Russell came out of the house to pick it up and watched as they drove away.
