Among the stolen items were medical supplies and equipment essential for her daughter’s care, adding to the stress she already experienced as a parent.

Frustrated and angered by the repeated thefts, Hyatt decided to take action, just like Russell did. She created bait boxes that successfully caught the thieves and provided her with some mental relief. The community, fed up with the porch piracy problem, also joined hands to support her efforts.
