From the start, people were also frustrated with law enforcement’s apparent inability to catch the criminals and hold them accountable. If justice were served, it would send a clear message to would-be thieves that they can’t get away with trespassing and stealing from others. Hopefully, that message would be enough to deter any potential porch pirates from committing crimes.
