Jayne Mansfield was an actress and live entertainer who became a sensual symbol in the ’50s and the ’60s. After Hugh Hefner began publishing his famous gentlemen’s magazines in 1953, Mansfield was one of the earliest contributors to the organization. She acted in popular features such as “Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?” and “Promises! Promises!”

Jayne had a daughter with Paul Mansfield named Jayne Marie, who also went on to become a model and a Playboy playmate, the first one who was also a daughter of a playmate. Jayne Marie’s reputation in the organization was excellent, and she even appeared in a seven-page pictorial in 1976 titled “Jayne’s Girl.”
