Bryce Dallas Howard is an American director and actress born to legendary actor Ron Howard and his wife, Cheryl Alley. Like her father, she also has a career in film direction and has managed to bag numerous awards and honors in the industry. Her direction in the TV series “The Mandalorian” was particularly notable.

Even though she’s not as successful as Ron, she is headed in the right direction and might see herself surpassing him down the road. Her father was a two-time Oscar winner for his direction in the 2002 film “A Beautiful Mind” starring Russel Crowe. He has two other Academy nominations for the direction of “Frost/Nixon.”
