Testing the Waters…Literally

After getting the surveillance cameras up and running, Greg was eager to test their effectiveness. He casually told a few neighbors that he and Jeanne would be out of town for a short trip, but was it really a getaway?

Greg and Jeanne didn’t actually go far; they just drove around the block, carefully positioning themselves to catch any unwanted visitors. Would the neighborhood kids take the bait? Hours later, as he pulled back into his driveway, anticipation surged. He rushed to the pool area, his heart pounding. The sound of children’s laughter filled the air, and once again, that pesky dog was in the water.
