It’s one thing to have a career that earns millions of dollars every year, but there’s a whole other level of pride in having smoking hot wives and girlfriends (WAGS). Professional athletes, more so than any other celebrities, tend to have amazing women by their sides.

Here, we have a list of 40 people (mostly sportsmen) who have brilliant WAGS in their lives. Well, unfortunately, a couple of them can no longer brag about their WAGS as they’ve split up. Anyway, you’d be surprised to see how many of the ladies have independent careers, despite having a well-off partner capable of covering their every expense. Let’s take a look at these gorgeous women now, shall we?

Nicole Johnson – Wife of Michael Phelps

For many years now, Michael Phelps has held the record for winning the most Olympic gold medals in history. If you’ve watched the Olympic swimming events in the last few times, you would’ve gotten sick of hearing his name on repeat for the countless wins. Unfortunately, the “greatest swimmer of all time” is now retired.

The 35-year-old has been married to the gorgeous Nicole Johnson since 2006. She is the 2010 Miss California pageant winner who is now the mother of Phelps’s three children. The couple has reportedly been together since 2007 although, they temporarily split in 2012, only to reconcile and tie the knot in 2016.

Erica Herman – Girlfriend of Tiger Woods

A former World No.1 on the golf course, Tiger Woods shows off his colors not only in the sport but also by scoring gorgeous women. The three-time PGA Tour winner was formerly married to a Swedish woman named Elin Nordegren. Things didn’t work out, and he went on to date other women before getting comfortable with Erica Herman in 2017.

Herman reportedly served as the manager of Woods’s pop-up restaurant named The Woods. Even though ten years younger than Woods, Herman seems to be making him happy in ways that no one else did before. According to Golf Monthly, the couple is living together along with Woods’s children.

Yvette Prieto – Wife of Michael Jordan

If you know anything about basketball, then you’d know that Michael Jordan is a veteran who was an active player in the NBA for 15 seasons until 2003. He played primarily for the Chicago Bulls, with whom he won six NBA championships in the ’90s.

Jordan made an impressive wealth from his career but lost a huge chunk of it in a divorce settlement. Things may not have worked out the first time, but he found love again in 2008. Since 2013, Jordan has been happily married to the Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto, with whom he shares twin daughters. Today, he is the principal owner of the Charlotte Hornets.

Jenna McBride – Wife of Brett Maher

After playing college football at the University of Nebraska, the New York Jets took in Brett Maher as an undrafted free agent in 2013. Shortly after, he was signed by the Dallas Cowboys and later moved around with a few teams before returning to the Cowboys for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Lately, Maher has been with the Houston Texans practicing squad. His career has clearly hit a few snags, but at least he has his wife, Jenna McBride, as a constant in his life. They’ve been married since the summer of 2013 and are now parents of two little girls named Maela and Laekyn.

Nicole Pechanec – Wife of Andrew Luck

Both Andrew Luck and his wife Nicole Pechanec have similar tastes regarding their education and interests. The two met while studying architectural design at Stanford University and were keen on sports. Luck went on to make a name for himself as an NFL quarterback while Pechanec did gymnastics at Stanford.

After seven seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Luck retired in 2019, citing his injuries as the main reason. While he enjoys his retirement with his wife and their one-year-old daughter, Pechanec works as a Field Producer for NBC Sports and ESPN, as per her LinkedIn.
