Pop Smoke – Home Invasion Shooting

Since his death in February 2020, friends of Pop Smoke, or Bashar Barakah Jackson in real life, have been paying homage to him in creative ways. For instance, rapper Travis Scott recently released a clothing collaboration with Dior showing the late musician’s photos, a move that his family applauded.

Pop Smoke, at the time just an up and coming 20-year-old artist, faced his untimely death after four people, two of which were teens, burglarized his rented home in Hollywood Hills during the wee hours in the morning. As per reports, the suspects knew his whereabouts because of his social media posts.
