Brigitte Bardot in the early 1960s.
Brigitte Bardot was a saucy beauty in the ’50s and ’60s. Her success story starts in Saint Tropez, France, when her parents purchased a holiday home there. She became instantly noticed around the world when she posed for the Elle magazine in 1952.
Following that, she started to receive offers for movies including “Crazy for Love,” “Manina: The Girl in the Bikini,” and “Act of Love.” Now, she’s found solace again in the place where it all started, i.e., St. Tropez. She’s authored a book as well titled “Tears of Battle: An Animal Rights Memoir” that talks about animal cruelty.
