Tom did eventually brush the thought off; after all, he was with his dear family and the day was intended to be fun. Upon entering the resto, the father, his wife, and the kids scanned the place for an available place and were finally seated.
They decided not to let what happened rain on their parade. While waiting for their food, they talked about how their past week went and shared anecdotes about the adults’ workplace and the children’s schools. Tom had almost forgotten what transpired an hour ago because he was having a great time.
