Jimmy Carter – $10 million

Jimmy Carter was the 39th U.S. President, and he stayed in office from 1977 to 1981. He’s the first former head of state in the U.S. who is still alive and kicking four decades after concluding his term. Alongside other U.S. presidents, he denounced the storming of the U.S. Capitol Building in 2021. 

Carter also teamed up with former President Bill Clinton to establish the New Baptist Covenant in 2007. The social justice organization strives to counter the stereotypical image that Baptists have as a religious organization that’s predominantly conservative.
