Gretchen Whitmer – $650K

Gretchen Whitmer is the 49th Governor of Michigan and has held office since 2019. In January 2021, she started her tenure as the Democratic National Committee’s vice-chair. She represented the state of Michigan from 2006 until 2015, when she had to step down due to term limits.

Thanks to the Federal Burea of Investigation, a kidnapping plot targetting Whitmer failed. A militia group operating in Michigan was unsealed in October 2020, and their plans to kidnap her were revealed. She has a blended family with Marc P. Mallory, with two kids from her first marriage and three from his former relationship.
