While English football legend Bobby Charlton would be pretty familiar with thousands of adoring fans chanting his name in a sold-out stadium, it’s no wonder that in his private life, he opted for a quiet, secluded beachside cottage on the Isle of Anglesey. Over here, the roar of the crowds is replaced by the soothing sound of waves gently traversing the sand.

Charlton and his wife Norma used the four-bedroom residence as a vacation home for over 40 years before renovating it and finally selling it in 2019. The Manchester United player, dubbed by some as the greatest footballer ever, was recently diagnosed with dementia.
