Benjamin Mendy is a famous French Professional footballer who plays in the premier league for Manchester City. He is among the most expensive players the club has ever signed; they paid a whopping £52 million ($61.6 million) for his transfer in 2017. He signed a six-year contract with City, which includes a £4.6 million ($5.4 million) salary.
He is estimated to be worth about $30 million as of 2022. However, he was suspended from the club in 2021 following several charges of violations and indecent assault brought against him. Whether or not he is still getting paid while in custody is unknown, but his contract expires in 2023.
