Only people who fish would know that catfishing has a different meaning from the scamming method that is now common on the internet today. Modern society would always misinterpret the term except they watch shows like “Hillbilly Handfishin'” where real catfishing is showcased.

Catfishing on the internet is a scheme where a person uses a fake identity to lure others into fake relationships in order to extort them of their money and valuables. The girl in this picture, however, is a real catfisher as the huge catfish she’s holding tells us.
