The year 2009 introduced the world to the spectacular singing talent of Susan Boyle, who enchanted viewers with her voice as a contestant on ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’ Back then, although Boyle could hit magical notes with ease, it was clear that she was struggling with her weight, and she admits to having some special love for cakes and sweets at the time.
Nonetheless, a health scare in 2012 made the Scottish singer take her lifestyle more seriously and engage in a weight-loss journey that saw her lose 50 pounds. For starters, Boyle got rid of the sugars in her diet and focused more on fruits, veggies, and healthy proteins. Additionally, she adopted exercise by walking two miles daily.
