Brimming With Life
As we’ve said before, Antarctica is brimming with life, despite being uninhabited by humans. There are penguins, seals, orcas, and whales that colonize this continent by the thousands.
But their numbers pale compared to that of the Antarctic’s most abundant animal, the unassuming nematode worm! There are billions of them! Despite their diminutive size, these worms play a crucial part in nature, as they capture and store carbon and help fight climate change! Who would’ve thought such a small creature n a frozen land would play such an essential part in nature!
