Unfair Application

After carefully observing the proceedings, Demetra decided to strike. She let her father know that the school dress code had never been enforced on the boys in her class. She said that the school forbade wearing hats in classrooms but still allowed them the leeway to do so.

It more or less became the norm for them to come in with their hats. To add salt to injury, the boys were never singled out. They weren’t made to stand in front of everyone or even had their folks called! Gleefully, her dad decided to weigh in.
