Are we living in a world where girls are objectified at a younger age? You may be wondering why this question crops up. It’s because teenage girls increasingly go shopping for perfect outfits, but their selections border on the wildly inappropriate for what their folks would pick out.
The jury is out on whether parents are doing enough to curtail this unsavory trend. As parents, what can you do to mitigate this behavior? What’s clear, though, is that girls need to be protected by setting clear and understandable rules. Otherwise, the demeaning will go on indefinitely!
