Patrick Vallance – $14.1 million
Patrick Vallance’s finances have been the topic of news articles recently. Believed to be worth around $14.1 million, the current Government Chief Scientific Adviser (GCSA)’s stakes in GlaxoSmithKline came to light in 2020. But, as it turns out, he still had a deferred bonus of 43,111 shares in the pharmaceutical company.
The shares are valued at $846K and poses a conflict of interest as Vallance is a public servant who’s active in the United Kingdom’s pandemic response. Aside from that stake, his fortune is made up of a $2.5 million home he reportedly bought with cash as well as a Mercedes car worth $42K.
