With a fortune estimated to be around $500 million, Queen Elizabeth is one of the richest political figures in the United Kingdom. Forbes reports that much of her wealth is thanks to various personal properties, investments, and art collections. Her Majesty notably owns two castles: Sandringham House and Balmoral Castle.
Queen Elizabeth also likely received a portion of her late husband Prince Philip’s estate upon his death in April 2021. He reportedly left behind a personal fortune worth $58.4 million. Two months after his passing, she is back at work again and recently met with President Joe Biden during his trip to the country.
