Ed Balls – No Public Information
Another prominent political figure whose finances came under scrutiny is Ed Balls. In 2020, news that the former Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer received a significant sum of money as a “golden goodbye” resurfaced. He reportedly walked away with the equivalent of $124K in 2015 after he lost his seat in the House of Commons.
This came out around the same time Balls was making his foray into documentary-making with the release of Travels in Euroland for the BBC. He made another shift in his career track in 2021 when he competed in and won Celebrity Best Home Cook. His exact fortune is unknown.
