Nadhim Zahawi – (At Least) $35 million
Saying Nadhim Zahawi is wealthy might be an understatement. In 2017. He was included in Business Insider’s rundown of the wealthiest members of parliament. The Conservative Party politician came in second with an estimated income of the equivalent of $753K, mostly from his work for Gulf Keystone Petroleum.
There’s plenty more where that came from, though. Zahawi also reportedly owns a portfolio of properties worth at least $35 million, according to The Guardian. He might have taken a pay cut in the past years, though, as he took on more responsibilities under the Johnson administration. In 2020, he was appointed as the minister overseeing vaccine rollout.
