Carson was only 33 years back in 1984 when he became the Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.
He pioneered the 22-hours conjoined twins’ surgery that took him to stardom in 1987. It was groundbreaking and has since kept him in the spotlight. Asides from being a talented writer, with several publications like the 2022 eye-opener, “Created Equal,” in 2016, he ran for the seat of the president of the United States, which has earned him endless media attention.
