Discharged and Ready to Go

Keely’s tumor excision was a significant major surgery that would usually require a lengthy recovery period, but surprisingly, Keely was up and about quicker than expected. Since she was younger than most patients, discharge orders were arranged in just under a week.

Like a girl scout awarded with a badge of honor, Keely proudly showed off her 30-centimeter scar to anyone who asked if she was okay. Despite losing an ovary, she was optimistic as her battle scars became a souvenir of this bad memory that she bravely faced and conquered. Keely was her very own hero!
