Danny couldn’t shake the fear that if they didn’t make a change, Lexi might not even see her 30th birthday. Knowing they needed to change and actually doing it were two very different things. As a young couple who loved to go out and share meals, the thought of altering their lifestyle felt overwhelming.
In addition, they were leading mostly sedentary lives. Hours spent sitting, paired with their unhealthy eating habits, set them on a dangerous path. Experts recommend at least 150 minutes of exercise each week, but for Danny and Lexi, even that seemed out of reach. Something had to give.
