Murder She Wrote’s Angela Lansbury started her career as a theatre actress touring Canada. Gaslight got Lansbury noticed, and she soon signed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Once The Manchurian Candidate arrived, the London-born actress was already established as a star. Both it and All Fall Down reached critical acclaim.
One of Lansbury’s most iconic roles is Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. After Murder, She Wrote, she played shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and, more recently, Little Women. We last saw the Anastasia star in Mary Poppins Returns, but Lansbury has The Adventures of Buddy Thunder on the way soon.

Eva Marie Saint, 97 Years Old
The oldest living Academy Award-winner Eva Marie Saint boasts a career that started in 1945 and is still ongoing. As a Golden Age of Hollywood superstar, Saint rose to fame playing in iconic films like On the Waterfront and North by Northwest.
Towards the close of the ’70s, Saint blew fans away in How The West Was Won and Taxi. A long break followed, and in 1986 the Nothing in Common star returned to our screens. From winning an Emmy for People Like Us to starring in Superman Returns, Saint found great success later in life. We last saw the legend in the movie Mariette in Ecstasy in 2019.
