If you are a calypso lover, Harry Belafonte should be one of the leading artists on your playlist. The musician literally has an album named Calypso for crying out loud. In his youth, the artist looked up to Paul Robeson as his mentor, and he was a close confidant of Martin Luther King Jr.

Aside from music, Harry has had a knack for activism and acting, and this has seen him expand his impressive resume. At some point, UNICEF appointed him as a Goodwill Ambassador.
