Emily Coutts, 32 Years Old

Emily Coutts has been acting, writing, and producing films for more than a decade. After graduating from the drama program at York University, she began working on independent short films and has made some headway in her career. She eventually bagged the role that has made her the most popular, as Lt. Keyla Detmer in “Star Trek: Discovery.”

After landing the role in 2017, she has remained on the series for four of its seasons, which wrapped up in March 2022. We’re confident this will only propel her into more notable roles in the future, and we’re excited about her journey so far.
