Jerry Mathers, 74 Years Old

Jerry Mathers will be remembered for playing Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver in the sitcom “Leave It to Beaver,” which ran from 1957 to 1963. He impressed execs during the audition after he told them he would instead go to his Club Scout meeting than be there.

Mathers’ career started when he was just two when he starred in a Pet Milk commercial alongside comedian Ed Wynn. Despite his success, he enlisted in the ’60s. Rumors began circulating of his death after his dispatch to Vietnam, but that was just a hoax. Today, he hardly appears on TV, and according to a 2021 article, he was promoting a home exercise unit.
