Dustin Hoffman – $109K, 2009 Tesla Roadster
Hoffman is somewhat of a trendsetter. At a time when Hollywood was in the business of falling head-over-heels for dashing, tall men, Hoffman paved the way for short, average-looking men like himself to make a name for themselves on the big screen. He was also one of the celebrities to buy Tesla’s first-ever electric car, the 2009 Tesla Roadster, which cost $109,000 at the time of production.
The 83-year-old, known for his portrayal of passionate and vulnerable characters, might be turning up with another emotional classic. His latest movie, As Sick as They Made Us, is currently in the works.
