Most Bruce Willis fans will always see him as the heroic cop that fought terrorists in the Die Hard Series. He has portrayed chiefly dangerous and action-figure roles, so perhaps that is where he developed his fascination for classic muscle cars. His Shelby GT500 was just one in his vast collection.
Willis rebuilt the car in 2001 in a package that cost at least $28,000 for just the interiors. He auctioned it for $161,000 in 2008. Even at 66 years old, he hasn’t given up on being the action man in movies. Since 2020, Willis has been in four action-thriller films and is scheduled to appear in nine more.
