Tom Selleck – $53K, Porsche 928 S4

Tom Selleck made it into stardom as the easy-going private detective in Magnum P.I. In it, he was dashing through the streets of Hawaii in a Ferarri 308. In real life, he was more of a Porsche 928 guy, which interestingly was the car they initially wanted to use in the series.

The 928 S4 is reported to have cost $53,000 in its release period. Selleck is rumored to have bought it for himself and at least three crew members, so we know the price didn’t mean much to him. The 76-year-old seems to be getting better with age, as he’s currently the star of Blue Bloods.
