Shelley Blond – Undisclosed Yearly Salary

Because of her distinctive voice, voice-actress Shelley Blond lent her voice to the classic Tomb Raider game as Lara Croft. She has also played several character voices in the computer game called Black & White. The New York Times even highlighted her dulcet tones.

In recounting the audition for the role of Lara Croft, she received a call from the gaming company and asked her to do an audition on a conference call. She was asked to repeat banal sentences, like “welcome to my home,” and got the job. Blond is participating in the documentary Tomb Raider Remastered, currently in the works.
