So, from 2009 to 2011, she was a director at Chelmsford City F.C. Still, her presenting work is how she’s become a household name.
In 2015, Barker led the BBC’s coverage of the Women’s World Cup. In addition, she’s hosted the Champions League of Darts, the Netball World Cup, and the NFL International Series. Although she didn’t make the list of broadcasters who earn £150K annually or above, the employment website Indeed pegs the average BBC journalist’s salary at $40K annually.
