Claire Barratt – Undisclosed Yearly Salary
Claire Barratt is an English industrial archaeologist, steam engineer, and television presenter. She studied civil engineering at the University of Portsmouth, and while doing so, diverted to mechanical engineering.
After graduating, she worked at the Chiltern Open Air Museum and the British Engineerium, where she is still a consultant engineer. Her television career launched after participating in Channel 4’s Salvage Squad and later became a co-presenter. Presently a freelance consultant industrial archaeologist, Barratt has been busy restoring and running various vehicles. Her most recent project came in a neglected watermill.
