Three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee Greta Thunberg is a Swedish young environmental activist known for her straight-up approach towards climate change mitigation globally. The 2003-born activist led a “Fridays for Future” initiative, pushing world leaders to initiate stronger action on climate change. Her activism was coined the “Greta Effect.”

Although praised and criticized in equal measure, mostly for her youthful nature, Thunberg has received several accolades for her efforts. She’s equally done well for herself financially, netting around $120K annually thanks to the support she gets from various institutions and prize cash. In 2018, the young lass boldly addressed the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
