Pablo Escobar Chilling In Front Of The White House
This image of Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar with his son posing in front of the White House may not seem that interesting at first glance. Thousands of people take similar photos, right? What’s noteworthy is that this was taken in the ‘80s, a time when the war on drugs was in full swing in the United States.
As a result, Escobar became a top target with his Medellin cartel being a significant supplier of cocaine to America. His reign ended in 1993 when he was nabbed and shot dead by Colombian authorities a day after his 44th birthday.
