In 2016, baseball fan Shaun Cunningham decided to take his young son, Landon, to a game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Atlanta Braves. But little did he know that he’d end up becoming an overnight celebrity hero that day. All because he was quick enough to prevent his son from being violently hit by a bat!
It all happened when outfielder Danny Ortiz inadvertently threw his bat into the crowd, causing great havoc. Little Landon was probably playing some Angry Birds on his phone and didn’t see it coming. Fortunately, daddy was there to save the day. A real-life hero!
