Rose Played By Melanie Lynskey

Rose starts as one of Charlie’s one-night-stands, but she develops such an obsession with him they end up developing a meaningful relationship and getting engaged in Paris. Following Charlie’s death, Rose develops a second obsession: she falls fairly quickly for Walden, Ashton Kutcher’s character. As the next-door neighbor of the Harpers, she appears in all of the 12 seasons of the show.

Rose is portrayed by the lovely Melanie Lynskey, a hardworking actress from New Zealand who has an awe-inspiring career. In recent years, she made it to the TV series’ Mrs. America and Young Sheldon. In 2021, she’ll appear in the movie Don’t Look Up, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
