Keanu Reeves has been hailed as “The Internet’s Boyfriend” and dubbed the most wholesome celebrity on earth. In part, this was because his kind, considerate demeanor is born from a tragic personal life.

Reeves was raised in a turbulent home. His father walked out on the family. In 1999, Reeves and his partner, Jennifer Syme, suffered from stillbirth. She died in a car accident two years after they broke up. He has never spoken about the incident publicly, so, like his character John Wick, (of which, Chapter 5 is currently in pre-production) he hides a great pain. So when he walked down the red carpet with his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, in 2019, we all hope for the best.
