Katherine Ryan and Bobby Kootstra – 2 years

Katherine Ryan is an Irish-Canadian comedian based in the United Kingdom for its comedy scene. As a teenager, she dated Bobby Kootstra, but she left for the UK. They were reunited when she returned to her hometown in Canada, and, in 2019, Ryan entered into a civil partnership with Kootstra.

In a recent interview, she describes her thoughts the moment when she saw him again after 20 years, as he walked into the same pub she was in with her sister, expressing how attracted to him she was. Fate would have it, and they welcomed Ryan’s second child, a son, in June 2021.
