Brooke Vincent

Brooke Vincent played Sophie Webster in Coronation Street and was lauded for her part in one of the most talked-about storylines centered around the character being gay. She was even nominated for a British Soap Opera award and an Inside Soap Award for her portrayal.

Vincent took maternity leave from the show in 2019 and hasn’t returned since she left. In February 2021, she revealed that she was having her second child. She has also had to deal with internet trolls attacking her online, although it’s unclear what they’re on about since she looks immaculate with or without makeup.
